ODYSSEY RUM
OBJECTIVE
Design an alcohol brand centered around Greek mythology.
CONCEPT
A line of rums based on the myths of Odysseus, as written in Homer's epic "The Odyssey." Each type of rum focuses on a relevant mythical being Odysseus encountered on his journey across the Sea of Monsters.
DELIVERABLES
Brand name and logo, unique product names, illustrated packaging labels, and back labels with copy that connects the character of each rum to the story that inspired it.
PROCESS
Hand-illustrated the logo font. Did all illustrations in Procreate and Illustrator. Wanted to make sure each type of rum (overproof, dark, and premium aged) had a connection to the mythical being it was paired with. I already knew a lot about Greek mythology, but had to research different kinds of rum. I wanted the art style and color palette to feel fun and modern while emulating the style of Greek painted pottery. So I did a lot of concept sketching. And I wrote all the copy.
GOODNESS DOGS
OBJECTIVE
A freelance branding project for a dog trainer's personal dog training brand, Goodness Dogs. I was asked to create a brand identity system that was fun and inviting, but not hokey, as many in this field can be (think every possible play on "paws").
CONCEPT
Create a bright, fun color palette for the brand that mirrors colors used in many popular dog toys (e.g., rubber balls, chew toys, etc.). Create an inviting logo with a symbol suggesting a dog's bark.

SAMSONITE
OBJECTIVE
Create a new brand identity system for the luggage brand Samsonite that better appeals to their target audience of middle-class, young to middle-aged adults.
CONCEPT
A sophisticated color palette with a pop of color. Logo indicates movement and implies travel with the "S" design. Lively, yet dependable and classic. "Born to go" phrase taken from brand's recent advertisements.
